  We offer patchwork, bohemian and hippie clothing with an ethnic-Asian slant.  All these
  handmade items are one-off or a few off so you won't be bumping into people wearing the same
  item as you are. Inspired by the rich heritage of Asia, not incorporating them into our
  designs would be a waste. Using these materials also ensure that indigenous art is not lost.

  We are a family business (basically, it's just my mom and me!) and we make most of these products
  ourselves. Yes, even the jewelry.
  We do get some extra hired help occasionally, however, NO child labour is ever involved !
  We like to make use of hired help when we can, from women around South East Asia
  as we feel that by doing so, it provides women with a means of livelihood, a form of independence
  and an alternative to prostitution.  We are a small business but we believe that every bit
  counts in reducing feminized poverty, exclusion and violence.

  Occasionally, we also add items made by village artisans we meet while travelling if
  we find them interesting.  These artisans depend largely on their craft for their living and we feel
  that purchasing from them would support them as well as help preserve their art and culture.
